Hard mode slashes the amount of ammo you have, I feel this is a bit harsh, to be honest with you, but it certainly does make the game much more challenging. You cannot play the final level though if you play the game on easy mode. This time around, the history is much deeper than previous installations. I have not tried this yet, but apparently, someone released a native port of the game on. The game once again features the Rebel-Martian alliance as seen in previous games. You have an easy mode which makes things much easier on you and you have the heavy machine gun as your default weapon. Best results seem to be from loading digging through the VRAM in save states of the PlayStation 2 port or Metal Slug Anthology on PSP or Wii. So as some of you may know, Im a bit of a Metal Slug fan. Ive played 6 on PS2, but not enough to give an opinion on it. This game though does have two modes to play. At least 4 has some of the Metal Slug magic, but 5 doesnt have that as much- it feels boring and repetitive, without the humour that the early Slugs had. The Metal Slug series is known for being rather challenging. (July 2022) Metal Slug 6 ( 6) is a run and gun video game for the Sammy Atomiswave arcade platform in the Metal Slug series. This is called the rush blaster system and it is something that I really do like. Basically, this allows you to carry with you two powered up guns at a time and you can switch between them the scoring system is also slightly changed which allows you to rack up some major points. The game has a weapon stock system at play and this can come in very handy. While Metal Slug 6 has that classic Metal Slug gameplay we all know and love.
